Backhoe sticky valve

My backhoe is currently after developing two faults which I presume are linked. On the back actor. It's to do with the crowd and tilt function. When you go to crowd then the lever in the cab sticks on when you let go. As in normally when you let go it should go back to neutral.

Secondly if you have it tilted fully and leave the levers go it's looses all it's pressure and the bucket drops down. Is it an internal leak in the ram or a valve problem in the chest ?

Had a slightly similar thing with 3cx, barrel in valve sticking, probably from not getting used that often? valve stuck on my NH horrible twist 4 in 1 handle, new cable. hammer time! has anyone retrofitted a straight lever in there somehow?
