Is the frame where matbro brackets are welded strong enough to take weight ?Here's some pics
Well your not going to go racing around the yard the them on the front. I only put 4 good welds to see off the front was strong enough. And yes it was. I will put it on the trailer before I weld the rest up. Back canopy will go on the hydraulic tail board. 4 short straps will hold it on. 60mm box frames 3mm thick. Twice as strong as you can buyIs the frame where matbro brackets are welded strong enough to take weight ?
It will weigh a lot heavier being 22 feet
long especially by the time you fit
canopy at rear

Now I have a mate who can get steel seconds. It's sometimes has a slight split o the seem. Or been welded together. It's fine for jobs like this. So the 60mm box was 18 quid a length. The 8x4 by 2 mm was about 32 quid. So call it 350quid. I'm hoping to have it galvanised. The trailer had a roll over sheet. It's got the ratchet bolted to the trailer. So a short length of strap should do itdo you mind saying what you think it cost in materials. pm me if you prefer. Looks just the job. How are you fixing them down. Got 3 bolts on either side of the long section on ours we could use but a strap might work
