Bale unroller/bedder or feeder/bedder

I’m looking to invest in the near future in something to make feeding silage bales and bedding up easier and more time effective. Also I don’t want to be in with the cattle, they’re not nasty or anything I just don’t feel safe. I’m going to be feeding along a feed barrier and have a scrape through. I’ve been looking at both feeder/bedders and bale unroller/bedders. I was just looking for peoples general opinions on both pieces of equipment. Obviously I know the running of a feeder/bedder would be higher but I would just like peoples opinions really.
If so what do you use and how does it work for you?
Any information would be great!
I’ve seen the odd unroller which has a straw dispenser, has anyone had any experience with these that could give me some information?

I was told, which makes sense, buy a bale unroller (on order for September) and a straw chopper separately. The argument being trying to put silage through a bedder will reduce its life expectancy rapidly where as two separate machines doing what they where wholly designed for should last many many years.

My main machine is a Lucas Castor. Haven’t used other makes but really like it. Use it for round and 6 string bales for feed and bedding. Most of my bedding is rush/grass 6 string bales and I don’t really know how else I could use them. I do use a loader mounted rotating spike for feeding round bale hay, as I can put 4 days worth out in one go, whereas the Lucas fluffs it up too much to do more than 2 days worth. The Lucas tests the lift of my 5613 with a 6 string silage bale in, but it manages.
