What's your reason for avoiding brands with plastic coresSilotite if it's available. Tried some Volac Topwrap last week because we couldn't get green Silotite and it seems ok. I try to avoid plastic cores and won't use 21 micron film again as even 6 layers wasn't enough

A neighbouring farmer got a contractor in to wrap a few hundred bales and I noticed off the road he’s just thrown the boxes and cores on the floor an left them whenever he changed the wrap he likely doesn’t struggle to get rid of themCardboard cores are easier to get rid of

The choice here is Silotight Silowrap Cropguard or Total which is £2 cheaper the rest being £54
2 or 3 outers and 1 or 2 inners tied tidy together and put for the recycling hereI do that to end up with a fair load of cardboard at the end of season
