Silotite if it's available. Tried some Volac Topwrap last week because we couldn't get green Silotite and it seems ok. I try to avoid plastic cores and won't use 21 micron film again as even 6 layers wasn't enough
 
Cardboard cores are easier to get rid of
A neighbouring farmer got a contractor in to wrap a few hundred bales and I noticed off the road he’s just thrown the boxes and cores on the floor an left them whenever he changed the wrap :eek::eek: he likely doesn’t struggle to get rid of them :LOL:

I've seen plenty do that but we take everything back to the yard and dispose of it

We've been on cordex the last 2 years and so far very pleased with it.
Haven't found a use for the plastic tubes yet and would agree cardboard would be easier to dispose of but having got caught out in a thunderstorm of biblical proportions a week ago I was glad that the rolls required no modifications to fit the dispenser after they got wet.;)
