Evening all,
I would be grateful if you would consider completing our online survey on Baled Silage Ensiling and Storage Practices. As a researcher at IBERS, Aberystwyth University, the results will enable us to target relevant research areas to help improve ensiling and storage techniques.
Whether you ensile 20 or 2000 bales, or that bales are only a small % of feed produced, your input will be valuable. I appreciate that some of you may not have started feeding bales yet and the survey will be available here until the end of February.
To take part and read more about the survey, click on this link http://users.aber.ac.uk/arf
Thank you in advance and I look forward to updating you on the outcomes of the survey.

Done.

We store round bales singly, not stacked, but the survey insisted I answer either stacked on top of each other or in pyramid form.

Thank you. Yes, didnt think of that. But as you probably clicked on 1 layer in the stacking question, i can disregard it. For those that may be thinking that they didnt answer this question, it only appears if you state that bales are stored on end.

Made a start to it but I couldn't complete it because there's only one answer allowed per question. I've got bales wrapped in black, pink and purple, with 4, 6 or 8 layers of plastic, with singles on end and others stacked 2 or 3 high on their round. With such a variation my results probably wouldn't add much to the survey anyway.
Would be nice to be able to select Northern Ireland as a country rather than select other and have to type it in.
