Baler mounted moisture meter... any good??

Read mixed reviews on success of fitting them to a big Baler. I have a Massey 185 series 2 and thought maybe useful. 80x90 sized bales. I know they are only a guide. Experience is best. Do they work better on straw?

I just use a handheld one, the pressure reading on baler gives a good idea of straw moisture too.

Yes fair enough. I agree with that. My handheld one wants upgrading and seeing if these are a better alternative.

For hay you need a microwave unit for real accuracy. Electrical conductivity method in fresh baled hay is very inaccurate.

I got a really good deal but you are about on the money.
The product though is bullet proof reliable and extremely accurate.
Need to be doing some £s of work to make it add up but do highly recommend.
