Although it's more than I would pay, it's actually not far off the going rate for a new 200 series by the time import tax is paid. Still a better ownership proposition than a range rover anyway, let alone spaffing £100k on a defender. I'm told landcruiser 200s are now 150k AUD new plus whatever it costs to get it over here plus tax, and theres a 4 year waiting list on new ones.

I have a P Reg Rav 4. It cost me £1200 15 years ago. Starts every time. Used everyday and will get me where ever I need to go.
I wouldn't swop it for that vehical.

But yes, if I was daft enough to spend close to £100k on a vehicle, it would certainly be higher up my wish list than a Defender.

There not very good for field work/shepherding 1st gears abit high and no low box so you have to rive on

Cut the back off , extend the chassis by 700mm and put a flat deck on , the ultimate ute!!!
Just remember in 7 years time that it'll be worth double the depreciated value of the more expensive Landrover!!!

I have a jeep grand cherokee . 2004 mot and reg limited use . Only fault doesnt change gear , Has high low box and works well with trailer . Will do 40 mph and is tidy and respectable . North Yorks.
