Think you are supposed to switch to 2 wheel steer when on road but just confused whether or not it's in 4WD permanent or need to do anything??!!

It’s permanent 4wd, I’m not that familiar with the speed range setup on a 26 but on mine you can switch between high and low on the separate axles to give different speed ranges and also can help with traction. I usually run the rear in low and font in high in the field. they only say/recommend putting it into 2ws for safety on the road but I know a lot don’t bother, I don’t but then again a 26 will probably be a bit faster on the road than my old girl!
But as a rule of thumb if it feels lose on the road in 4ws there’s usually some bushes or track rod ends need replacing.
