Bateson dp trailer

Considering purchasing a 10x6 bateson dual purpose trailer. I know the wheels underneath aren't everyone's cup of tea.
How do they compare to the Ifor Williams dp120?
From pics, the centres of the bateson wheels seem closer, probably less punctures but less stable possibly? It wouldn't want to suffer from less stability than the Ifor Williams.
Have a Murphy Aerlite trailer but can't bare the harsh ride when empty. It's constantly hopping along the road.
Thanks all

Bateson use rubber torsion sprung axles which are great when under load - hard and bouncy when in unladen. They are well made trailers with plenty of nice features over an Ifor Williams but don't hold their value like an Ifor Williams does.

Do they give trouble the torsion sprung axles? Don't like the idea of rubber. Sounds like the aerlite trailer I have. Do the Ifor ride better empty? Noisier no doubt

I've personally not had any issues with a rubber torsion style axle as I don't do any heavy towing with the small 1000kg trailer I have. However it is bouncy when empty unlike the large twin axle trailer we built ourselves about 5 years ago. It's on solid beam axles on springs and tows well empty or laden. It is noisy when empty but that's the trade off for a better towing trailer. If I had the money I would go for an Ifor Williams or Nugent twin axle 14' If buying new.

I have an old 9ft Bateson stock trailer with rubber torsion style axle and tows very well empty or with weight on.
Does it kick the tow vehicle? I found the aerlite I have is always jolting and bouncing. Have an old leaf sprung and ya wouldn't know it's on.
I like the look of the bateson and might give a try. Also have a nugent to look at. Will probably go with the cleanest

Well I tow mine with a Discovery 4 so the trailer doesn't bounce much on it.
