Horners have one for £225. no idea how good it is but it comes with two batteries each meant to last an hour. http://www.hornershearing.com/acatalog/battery-powered-cordless-shearing-machine.html
Mudge are much better spec than the Horner, they have a lithium battery so won't run down,
I get on very well with mine. Haven't used the 12v Horner since I've had them.
No, mine is this one.Do you mean these?

Haven't seen the others before, but they might be just as good.
Helluva price for them, IMO.
Got a handypiece here but now doing much less docking and what I do is in the clamp with the 3 speeder.
So if I was buying again just as a tool to clip dirties here and there I'd probably buy one of the cordless £200 jobbies
Get yourself some shedders...Exactly my thinking.
Just for dagging or clipping the occasional coupie, the £200 machines should/would do the job at 1/3 the price
Get yourself some shedders...
Let us know what its like to use! Thanks for the replies chaps will ring Horner tomorrow and order one of the £ 200 machines.
