BBC’s reporting of Victoria Atkins MP over rural issues

Interesting to see the BBC’s choice of headlines over Victoria Atkins attempts to get the Government to stop avoiding her questions in a parliamentary debate

Another reminder that the outdated license fee system should be abolished and replaced with an elective streaming model (like Amazon, Disney, Netflix, Apple etc), and the 21,000 BBC staff drastically thinned.

You do realise that the Deputy Speaker Christopher Chope who admonished her is/was a Conservative, hard-line Brexiter. The complaint was about her loutish behaviour, which the BBC reported. Anyone who thinks that her stunts are for the benefit of farmers rather than her own self-interest needs to think again. The Conservative Party used to be renowned for its standards of behaviour, her’s was more reminiscent of Labour of old.
Oh and by the way the BBC payroll stands at over 25,000.

Yes its a bit rich trying to claim they stand up for farming and flood defences after the last 14 years!

I thought her behaviour was appalling! The Sec of State said he needed his last 3 minutes so he wouldn't be giving way (allowing her to speak) but she mouthed off anyway. Not a good look. Personally I thought the Dept speaker was far too slow to call order, practically asleep on the job, one of the clerks in front of him gave him a very hard stare.
