The BBC have shot themselves in the foot with this latest thing of registering:banghead::banghead:


to fine tune that one click on nearby locations and pick the one that is closest/similar height AS / relief as where you are....
a station thats updated often is better as well .....(y)

another check to make is look back at what the last 24hrs forecast was , which ever one is closest to what your own weather was in the last 24 will possibly be the best /most accurate ..one to use...
 
I use the met office iPad weather app with the map showing the weather animation for last 6 hours or next 24 hours which I find is the most accurate information I can then interprete to give an accurate prediction through my local knowledge

Use the bbc app for longer term but always take it with a pinch of salt
