Wasn't up to much really. I thought they didn't give much airtime to it, felt a bit rushed and while there were a few relevant points, it didn't get the discussion it needed. Basically a man from the forestry commission came on and talked about the 10 year tenancies that were available through them. A dairy farmer talked about encouraging people into agriculture. A woman farmer spoke about the problems with short term tenancy. Another dairy farmer from Bute phoned in about the price of milk and a 15 year old rang in to say she was going to farm on the family farm. There was probably a bit more to it than that but that's it in a nutshell. I thought that they were happy to hear the good side of farming but minimised the problems. You'll get it on the I player I expect.
