We had beaver problems in upstate NY, dammed the river below a dairy I was working on which flooded the road---sheriff would dynamite it every year but they always returned

It was quite a spectacle, everyone turned up to watch the explosion :)

So the wildlife bods aren't happy with Sea Eagle's and beavers - they're not dangerous enough - oh no , they want much , much more dangerous animals roaming round Scotland coming in to regular contact with humans , because it's a very different country to when they were here last centuries ago. Wolves , bears and lynx aren't going to be left alone for very long.

The scientists say they'll live off the wildlife. Why would you , when there's loads of easily caught slow sheep to dine on?

Here already. Just need to train the seas eagles to eat them! There's only one way to sort this FIIIIIIIGHT,

Yes had them here 4-5 years now.
Felled all the small trees and now onto bigger stuff, 18" diameter plus.

River floods pretty regularly in winter so soon washes away any dam building. Worse is the lodges they build in the banks. Can collapse from above and that part of the banking far more likely to get washed away when river is in spate.
