Make of it what you will. Numbers back to just under 850, which I suspect may be down to Stags telling people to stay away?
Sqq actually up 0.1p but everything else down so shows how weird that works.

I guess the SQQ includes non FA lambs so that is why it shows a slight increase of 0.1pk.

Last week they were telling everyone to bring lambs to market... This week they want you to stay away.... do they actually know what they want:rolleyes:

I would say that was good work on their behalf. Last week price was up, albeit slightly, so they encouraged more lambs, this week it's back so they encourage people to stay away. If there had been normal number of lambs there how much worse would it have been?

Excluding the suckled calf prices, strong stores are not being hammered in price but stirks to small or leaner sorts at 15 month old things are, store lambs look good In comparison to fat but are in fact a joke in reality with costs and inflation compared to years gone by, just as well there is plenty of cheap fodder around and its not like extreme weather seems to be coming the norm......

I was pleased to hear that mention of it was well down the order on R4 news this afternoon. On the downside, I believe that the Food Standards Agency will make a consumer announcement regarding the Salmonella outbreak in sheep that has been rumbling on for some time in the next day or two. I'm not sure how much coverage that will get.
What .….1st I have heard about that..enlighten me more

On the BSE news today, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, people are fed upto the back teeth of these so called health scares and largely ignore them now.

I think there is bigger news brewing and that is frau May doing her best to keep us in the EU, cant see her being in the job much longer and if she is forced out then civil war will ensure in the Con party.
Wow..if she lloses her job..the country will be F..ked..corbynes waiting

Its called commucation..Honiton who run under the same banner are very good at that....over the last 4/6 weeks been far in front of Auction marts...simple reason is the lambs are cleared early and are on their way before most auctions start on a Monday and most are killed on Monday as well..
