Anyone selling/have prices for young bulls north of the border this week? Thanks.

Abp were 3.54 for young bulls when I asked about a week to 10 days ago, £3 for cows. Lorry driver said he has only been getting half loads to go down this last while when it’s normally full.

Local place paid £3.66 for clean last week. Struggling to find cattle.

So these stories they put out of there being plenty of cattle about are purely fictional...who’d of believed it...

Trade back a fair bit today in Carmarthen. I had £885 average for 13-15 month steers.

People blaming the lack of grass in England for the down price, and a couple of dealers didn’t come down.

Can you English boys on here do a rain dance or two to help us poor Welsh boys out [emoji6]

Last two suckled bulls went today. Opposite ends of the spectrum ha. The big one was £1585. £3.54 base price.

Hereford lamb trade was back yesterday , av 232ppk. This time last year they av 2.90 but in 2016 they were 1.96. Lots of people saying there lambs are ready earlier and so theres a glut. Hoggs av 203ppk.

184p last week. 146p today:(.I should have passed them really. Riley was trying to get them to take turns. Were you in the same alley as Joe Marrs?
I don’t know. I sorted them up and went home to do some jobs. I had some big ugly mule tups in and teeth up in most pens. Some sold mixed up so 189 sounds ok from here
