Yes that's where the cartoon, or Guths arguments about his rights and what they fought for in the war (!?!?) don't really fit - because it's not about protecting yourself.

Tbh I don’t normally agree with guth and the whole world war arguement is a bit out there but I am of the opinion I’m guessing like guth that this COVID-19 sh!t is being used by the government too push more control on the general public.. first it’s cashless payments don’t they can track all our banking movements and freeze anybody’s accounts anytime they wish... then there’s making us walk around like robots queuing 2 metres apart and walking 1 way around shops... now it’s forcing us too wear certain things while shopping... they’re checking the boundary’s of what they can get away with before they move on too more mind control.... tin hat firmly on

I just asked the wife who is very up to date with things like this as she actually makes and sells a fu<kton of masks plus she’s in the fire service etc...

I asked her how does one become exempt and her reply was “if your up on the ISS wearing a fu<king space suit” :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ?‍??‍?

No end of reason's why people are exempt.

Your wife is clearly very narrow minded if she cant comprehend that there are many people who have genuine and very valid reasons not to wear a mask.

Thou of course she wants people to wear masks as she is profiteering from the mandated usage of them from next week!

The wearing of masks should have been mandatory from day one . It would have saved a lot of lives. Anyone with half a brain should be able to comprehend this . Of course there are some who put their own petty ‘rights’ before people’s lives.
This is what I been thinking all along. I thought it was just me thinking it was a no brainer. Don't get me wrong tho I don't like wearing them tho

It's the wrong language but I thought this was quite a good diagram

For what it's worth though I don't own a mask, I tried my wife's on and thought it was deeply unpleasant. I haven't been to market since 2012 and ive not left the farm since January apart from going to the beach ( which is only metres from the farm)

Only about 800 new cases of the virus in the UK each day now and most of these are in shall we say certain communities or the hospital's so given we have a population of some 67 million then your chances of being in contact with someone that may have the virus is all but zero and all the red tape/ rules etc they keep introducing for day to day life due to this virus are all out of proportion for the risk.

Actually the margin is much lower than a dress....
The fire service have the proper masks and have had to wear them at all times since early March when their doing drills/practices etc, who would save your house from burning if they were all ill with covid? They’ve also got to go into peoples houses etc - often elderly people who have multiple carers coming back and forth so the risk is higher than being in a field.

Loading lambs this morning all for our own retail from bought in ewes last year from the most up/down market of the country, first time I’ve had scab on the farm, I’ll never buy out of the Saturday sales again. On topic, lambs are £5/kg including lambs we buy off neighbours to top up. We can do it because we make good use of carcass from legs to burgers to faggots. The moneys in the chain without the need to rip off the consumer. We don’t do large numbers so not a game changer. Maybe 200 this year.

You quite obviously have not lost friends or acquaintances to this disease ,if you had you would have a different outlook.

I’d ask anyone who could wear a mask but is refusing to wear one (advisory or otherwise) to please stay away from livestock markets, let’s not give anyone an excuse to shut down the only competition to DW.
Exactly, we must be seen as to be helping the cause not adding to it.

The general public have backed us at the time when if cheap imported meat had been taken and sold at mass what would our cattle be worth now?

Lets not give them a chance to change their minds. Wearing a mask for a couple of hours is nothing compared to what could happen.

They will also be able to get more buyers in.......especially for breeding sales

We live in a democracy and not a dictatorship so everyone should be welcome at markets be that buyers and sellers, both those that wish to wear masks and those that cannot wear masks for valid health reasons etc.

Have you been wearing a mask at markets since lockdown started runny egg??

As you know - I haven’t been for 12 months, indeed I will go further than simply wearing a mask at market, I’ll stay well away.
