As long as they are heathy lambs I would think you have a good chance of making money on them.
I always keep a small group of very small lambs that aren't worth selling with the late lambers for the winter and it amazing how much they make in may, once I take there coats off they look smart and still weigh handy weights.
Around here the big well bred lambs (£75 - £80) don't seem all that dear when they are easy making £95 - £100 killed 4 weeks later. But the small badly bred lambs seem to be making £65 - £70 look very dear. Those badly bred Texel's out of mules never get much weigh IMO and seem just to be getting woollier.
The latest 400 arrived at 2am this morning. Looked well coming off the lorry and I've just been around them and they look champion.
I'll have them gathered up for doses and jabs next week. I'll try and remember tootake a few pictures so you can see for yourselves the sort of lamb I'm on. 👍

you been trawling the islands, always think they’re cheap out there from what you see arrive back
 
Saw a few selling on the Web cam, archie plugging away at 350/400 for the ones l saw, l wonder if gregor sells many up there since he left the cally probably cast ewes on a Monday, but archies the main man up there.
