The worst bit about heading off to marts miles away on the motorways is the grub. It’s usually bad and expensive. Everywhere is either a costa or macdonalds. Rubbish to me. Father used to take me to Lancashire when leading hoggs and we always stopped at the Granada services. You could have anything from fish and chips to a Sunday dinner. What the hell went a miss??

Even the good ones are getting bad. Stopped at Tebay earlier this month and it was overpriced and P poor service.

It’s like mushrooms. Tell everyone they are getting more than everyone else Such a good deal you must keep quiet. Kept in the dark and fed on shyte
Farmers are clearly not allowed to comment and discuss how much they are getting paid for their beef off certain processors, bit like certain D/W processors don't "discuss" their Friday price offers with other processors!!!!!!!

Some of the big outfits who supply weekly big numbers will be getting let off the hook with weight limits on a regular basis but I don’t think those types of people would be wanting to know beef prices on here.
Might be wrong but those fellas usually have plenty of info from elsewhere

I stopped at tebay yesterday. went in, had a pee came out and got back in the car! I take a flask of tea now so I don’t have too drink the crap from the services.
Anyone at the Cally tomorrow? I’ll stand you a brew

I think I prefer Abington these days, I'm sad to say.

Not at Cally, but let us know when you're heading for Dingwall and if I'm about I'll take you up on that brew.
