Yeah there would a shiit load more calves about if it wasn’t for TB. As a dealer has said to me there’s calves not being reared that should be reared and now because of the Arla job there’s calves being reared that shouldn’t be
I am just going on what they make at Carlisle the few times i look in. Strong Blue x calves would make more like £400 in there.

Those so called experts are talking complete and utter bulls**t!

These so called idiot experts would not know what a real days work is if it smacked them on the face.

And they could certainly not even organize a pee up in a brewery if you turned the taps on for them! no doubt these so called idiot experts would tell you that you could have a pee up and get drunk without booze in a brewery!!

Case in point, Sedge market was exceptionally busy today both with people and livestock resulting in expectionally strong trades in all rings be that dairy cows/ store cattle/ stirks or baby dairy calves/ store/breeding sheep.

In the baby dairy calve ring they had 528 calves penned and sold today..

Livestock markets across the UK have a solid future and if anything are getting more and more popular to trade stock than they would have been a few years ago.

Buy/sell your cattle/sheep live to thrive or else these sectors will end up in the current dire straights the poor pig sector now finds itself in!
Best post of 2022 so far 👏👏👏
