saw a guy sell 100 50kg lambs last week and thought he’d have made £5 more and saved himself a lot of feed costs if he sold them at Christmas.
Cheap fodder will help the trade on weanlings/cattleHereford market weaned calf sale getting better . 55 in tomorrow so far .

yes lambs will be fine come march-april easter demand ,and heavies / ewes end of ramadan , Eid al-Fitr may 2nd (ramadan for fasting april 2- may 2)Which is exactly why there are too many for demand now. It’s always a small market and easily overwhelmed.
Just wait til April, after last year’s good go on big hoggs…. as happens every time.
