The pen of 4 red heifers? think I've had the odd one off you in the past.I was quite happy, they were a touch more than i got for the ones straight off their mothers in november but these were just that touch later born and werent good enough then. Yes my cattle are normally very uniform and can batch them up nicely. Think i had a pen of 8 black heifers in october at the first suckler sale. Just wish i could get them a bit taller for their age, (its the hairy cow in them) they seam to do ok for folk as same man buys them every year.
You will be pleased with that!!Light/handy hoggs good in Bentham.
Avg for my texel x 38kg £108.20
Blackie tups - 57kg @ £126.00
35kg @ £95
The lightweights would have sold better at your local. But not bad on the whole. You will be pleased with that!!
@yellowbelly Bentham must be " nearer than you think"??
Not enough buyers for him at Carlisle.Strange to see R Skeleton selling at Bentham, I suppose its better than him showing through Carlisle like he has been recently.
