They will be going back to the old system i would guess, maybe top each lamb up to £150 with sub until the market finds the right level again.

Its finding its own level but its a level that wont ensure food is there for much longer.

20 of them were actually 40 , i remeber folk getting a fukimg semi if they got 42.50 , was just thinking aboit that tonight when inwas round my hill .

Definitely heading for recession ......@Northeastfarmer hinted at it above,,when you start to think twice whether you can travel anywhere due to fuel costs it is the first stage.
If you stop at home you dont spend as much on other things.

If I have a day at Blackpool on the drink I often spend less than I would have at home working not sure what would happen if I tried that every day though

Our neighbour always got £42.50 when we got £40......then the newspaper came at the weekend and he didnt!

Sold some banger old ewes today for £147 Wasnt long ago could hardly give old ewes away and old cows went in burner , what s changed ?
