Jumped 20 quid a head in 3 weeks...hope its not gone up to fast
Amazing really that suddenly hoggs start coming out in massive numbers and as soon as that happens the price jumps £15/20 head !

Edge certainly off some of the store cattle today thou Fri steers and 350/400 kilo grazing steers still as strong a trade as previous weeks.

Stirk trade again edge possible off the top end stuff but the rest a very strong trade and looked very well sold especially for the heifers compared to slightly stronger and older heifers in the store ring.

We are heading to be one of the most regulated and unsupported
farming countries in the world with little or no voice.
Sheep being removed from designated areas, neonicotinoids ban
affecting arable farmers, not allowed to grow GM but ok to import it etc etc.
It's a fecking joke @lloyd !! Any farmer that voted for Brexit or voted this shower of sh!t in should take a long hard look at themselves.

Someone in the pub last night reckoned the next boat from kiwi land got sent somewhere else last minute as they were offering more money. Don’t know if it’s true or not but would make sense with the sudden jump in the run up to Easter. Even with the big numbers that have been coming forward this week.
That’s good news

Coronation Lamb being announced as a dish for Charles coronation by the Palace. Whether our unions or AHDB notice and get on the blower and push it is a big chance now for early May.

It is not brexit that is the problem the Conservative Gov that we had under Boris ( and now sunack ) because Boris let Carrie and her rich mates like the Goldsmiths pretty much run it and that is where this green wash/net zero rubbish has come from, we then had the covid scam and a handfull of people like of Hancock etc gave themselves so much power at that time and they realized they could do/ get away with whatever they wanted under the guise of Covid powers!

No one regardless of how they voted for brexit could have foreseen the above and the problem now is the Gov are causing/ doing so much damage to the country and lowering peoples standard of living and which the likes we have not seen for several generations.
