Tidy trade again.
What are the doing with these ewes at £250 to £300?
That's got to be over £3 a kilo live.
Boys that’s runs slaughterhouse near here told me they use 8-10 big ewes to make a roll of kebab, and he emphasised BIG!A lot of kebabs out of a £300 ewe.

There won’t be the numbers about until March now I think.Hoggs average 293 at ua only 3800 in. May be the cold weather made numbers less.
Wheat germinated out of the pyramids, 4,000 years. How long does it keep before it’s past its best?
Don’t think they’ll be a massive crop this year thanks to schmallenbergFriend who does a lot of stores says his are at least a month behind where he would expect them. Price increasing mid Jan means a lot will be thinking they will only earn by keeping.
personally I don’t think numbers are there. Not enough born last spring due to the dry summer.
Completely different this year. Most Scanning’s seem to be back to normal. Early summer trade could be the one with not so many singles about.
Good job I had a crap scanning with lots of singles then!!Friend who does a lot of stores says his are at least a month behind where he would expect them. Price increasing mid Jan means a lot will be thinking they will only earn by keeping.
