Not quite if they rob some for free. Once they get somewhere 420/430 the plants appear to have a ceiling gross price.Meat is meat when it’s hung up
So just send them before they hit that weight limit…Not quite if they rob some for free. Once they get somewhere 420/430 the plants appear to have a ceiling gross price.
dairy bred to do that would have to be flek x blue , not dairy bred in general imo.I was working on 420 at 520 for a U. Neither figure unreasonable if both are properly pushed.
Dairy bred blues can easily get to 420 kg but not necessarily upper end u gradesdairy bred to do that would have to be flek x blue , not dairy bred in general imo.
Home weight or empty market weight(25kg less in my experience)

I thought we were talking about the pictured beast - I have no control over its weight. So just send them before they hit that weight limit…
Had 15 U's on a load last week. Surprised me. We buy decent, but not flash, calves. Have to push them a bit heavy, to get them out of 2's - think this may help promote them from R's. It is a kind grader, though.dairy bred to do that would have to be flek x blue , not dairy bred in general imo.
