That’s not what I’m saying at all
Just because Asda sells some doesn’t mean they have any control over the ethnic trade whatsoever
I would suggest the ethnic trade has a big factor in prices and has nothing to do with supermarkets

But if we don't have the independent butchers we will be totally at the mercy of the supermarkets. Be careful what you wish for.

I dont wish for anything , i understand there plight but im fuking sure i have no sympathy as they have never had any for me . 100% of what i do ends in supermarket anyway.

It's took me decades to realise, but who are the fools?
I've had 7 days I haven't worked in the last 5 years.
I've probably averaged at least 16 hours a day since the new year.

All classes, breeds & weights of prime hoggs will be in extreme demand & wanted at Kirkby Stephen on Tuesday evening! Due to the forthcoming end of Ramadan and lack of numbers out throughout the country today.

Hopefully that will apply to Hawes on tues AM aswell??

I remember the day’s people would buy in hawes on the morning and drop them in kirkby in the evening to turn a few quid

Only being through tow law a few times on the way to mark watsons but remember the octagon sale ring sat there with nothing else around it any more. Is it still there?

I think so I’ve not taken much notice it’s listed so I guess it’s still there houses built around it now

I was thinking it must be listed when it hadn’t being flattened. Once called into a pub up that way on the way home. Fair experience we weren’t there long

There’s a few the mart pub was good and the one over the road or Beni Bonasi a bit further along used to go regular once on
