I buy some straights for cattle mainly. To get a constant supply at the right price you sometimes have to take an odd load when it suits the agent. I am on the list of people to ring but probably well down as I haven’t enough cattle to take feed anytime. The big boys get the saving. They are using it in large quantities so have a constant supply. They buy artic loads of cheap protein which needs diluting I have to pee on with hi pro soya at god knows what price as I haven’t enough cattle to warrant an artic load of cheap protein that needs mixing 7.1 . Bit like molasses and urea mine comes in small lots there’s comes in full loads.
Did you have any hoggs in Longtown yesterday?
