Agreed, but you would think the market would want to be doing the easiest and best for their vendors , after all no vendors then no market . If a neighbouring market started paying by bacs on the day then that would surely attract some vendors ?
I wouldn't be expecting the market to pay out if there is a debt on the acc but if your account is clear then why not ?
I bet the bank don’t like cheques now either ! It’s mad they need to get with the times .

What’s this madness your speaking of? The mart gives you money back for paying on the day? [emoji15] sounds like a quick way too go bust if you ask me...
It's a pound in the grand they pay back, very rarely bothers me for bits I buy, when there's blokes taking a 100 cattle out at a grand a piece plus, a 100 quid spent must be better than not getting the 100k

Nothing wrong with luck money, them that have a problem with it that have something wrong with them.

Tbh I’d pay luck on breeding/store sheep if I sold breeding stock... but fat buyers are all crooks and don’t deserve any more money than they’re already scamming [emoji23]

Why have pigs collapsed?
I thought Id best ask an expert, well a pig farmer who breeds, rears and finishes about 3000/year, not big but knows his pigs. Cull sows fell out of bed as (he says) unless the farm has a certified vet inspection every 3 months then the sow meat can no longer be exported, I assume same applies to fat pigs but he didn't say. Also the biggest sow processor in the UK having issues with its export license to the EU.

But I don't understand it, Brexit was to result in a bonfire of red tape??
