Yet ewes are still reading good… January might not be a total disaster yet…
You’ve made me feel alright, just had £900 in the yard, no expenses! Straight off beef sh popHard to tell but £770-£800
As said above Carlisle can be chancey for those sorts
Either there’s folks there for them or not. The same cattle can be £900 easily if they have the right shape
I’m actually in the same predicament with around 30 of them exact same sorts
We are feeding them now and if they start to fall into the £900 bracket then the calculator may say shift them on
They never look much without some feed these days otherwise you can take a hit
how heavy are yours, what cows they out of? Mine were just having a bit of nut in a creep feeder not a large amount though, out of shorthorn cows, never been inside until Monday this week, going tomorrow!! If I didn’t sell them to this guy I was gonna run them on into may June an then flash them in front of the grass fever men!! But you don’t just keep them for nothing until then so reckon I’ve had a good do, maybe could of made more of 3-4 of the bigger ones At market an less of 2-3 of the smaller ones, so £900 a cross the board is good at home was my thinkingWe have a fair few fits into that category. They are what we call neither nowt nor summit at the moment but they are improving. We would usually sell them in the late spring and summer but could be tempted to move them sooner if the price moves upwards which we are hoping it will
Didn't see a lot of them to be fair. A few regular sellers of decent quality stuff when I was watching. The smaller cattle looked dearer to me today
Mine need gone in the next month as I need the pens to start calving. We have a fair few fits into that category. They are what we call neither nowt nor summit at the moment but they are improving. We would usually sell them in the late spring and summer but could be tempted to move them sooner if the price moves upwards which we are hoping it will
That seems far too low? Do they supply Asda? Are Dunbia on 3.92 for cattle?
I don't knowThat seems far too low? Do they supply Asda?

He’s had trade of the year if that description fitted that average.A friend of mine sells in Carlisle most weeks mainly R grade cattle 450-500kg 20 month old types, he's averaged £1395 today!!!! he's very happy. he said most things were up £50-£100 from before xmas.
Remember lambs are wet and muddy now...lot of weight on them bellysLamb trade looks fairly depressed around today on AHDB.
Mine might be similar weights possibly a bit heavier but hairy not showing much shape yet but putting weight onYou’ve made me feel alright, just had £900 in the yard, no expenses! Straight off beef sh pop

They will have a good chance of paying if theyve gone to run on a bit.
