Or a good whippingNo, must be gone by end feb here!
Will likely miss the rich pickings!
Ours are on a dairy farm, he will want them gone by then and no good coming back here at lambing time! They’ve usually eaten enough to get a good whipping by then
I agree with that theory I wish I could adopt itOurs are on a dairy farm, he will want them gone by then and no good coming back here at lambing time!
Penrith? Was DB in good formGood trade where i've been today, plenty £1300-£1600 no signs of it easing.
hope my mate had a good do in december , hes bought another 1000 since.
Same, I don’t want the passengers from the year before hanging around, I’ve always sold the ones born in the April before the ones in January are born, this year still have 50 sh!ts left, not really gaining and their insideOurs are on a dairy farm, he will want them gone by then and no good coming back here at lambing time!
What age, breed, locationSold 5 stores other day averaged 1100, never sold in January before, glad I come on here now
I kept saying it would happen… give it a month. Be right then. well that’s what I’m hoping. Just put 1500 polled lambs on turnips this last week so I won’t want too touch them until mid febLooks as though the bubbles burst already....at least we had a good do in December, wouldve sold a lot more then with benefit of hindsight!
Never expected this.
That’s different as their on away ground not on lambing paddocks where you want lambs and milking ewes to eat as much as they can of the best quality grass etc.Good job we’re all different! I like too have 1000 hoggs left as we start lambing. But none of them will be at home bar the few strugs.
