Ewes are serious where ever you are this week, they were dear enough anyway but they’ve took a lift this last ten days! Top price of £225 for a pen of five at Bridgnorth today so I hear, presume texel

We aren’t so pleased, maybe try Thirsk again but it’s my own fault for not seeing them sell but I’m a full time fencing contractor and a part time sheep farmer, just a huge waste of time for me at market
Darlington is nearer than you think or nip to Bentham for an evening out @Anymulewilldo may buy you a brew, it will definitely pay for your diesel

good luck with that with my pure charollais , ive got tiny ones here late april born that are over 50kg they weigh like lead and are very tight coated (like a 6-8 weeks after shearing ewes ) , backs like billiard tables . some of the older ones that were destined for the fat were 60kg + off grass in jan , totally fkd up this year , (they did come back £149.50 though )
You must have some good feeding land!
