It diddnt actually come out of darlo, it came out of leyburn as a calf and i swear it wasnt THAT ugly then, anyhoo im pleased to do my bit for our trade deal with the japs, i wounder if i get some commision off bojo.

That's what I was thinking. We get a few in at work for a special job. Most look like @muleman's artwork brought to life plus they're not properly finished either. I can't understand it, as far as I was aware they need to be fat before they'll marble properly

The problem now is the very poor quality of calves coming out of the dairy herd regardless of breed be that Angus/ Blue/ Hereford etc etc.

Far Far too many of them are like or worse than the new TFF mascot Stanley.

The inspiration for my piccasso drawing didnt come out of the figments of my imagination... ...it was ingrained im my memory from what had been on our farm.
If we lost a calf we used to buy one from a dairy herd to set on.
Lims and blues could breed shape of the dairy cow but when they went onto angus we gave over bothering.

Next door to me has a load of Angus out of what looks like grass rats, there 50 9month old next to my ewes and my mules look bigger. Poor things look like they need a good feed. He runs them until 30 months and sells as stores. Was very proud last time I Spoke to him that he had £900 for them.

I've been using Angus for a good few years.and you do get a few that have horns.not at the start but 6 month later.nothing like ton thing in the picture tho.
