Absolutely. No point keeping them another 3 weeks until 44/46 to get the same money

I would say the same usually. However, today at Boswells lambs in the high 40s kg and above trading about £3.30. Low 40s and under often nearer £3 and some light lambs below that. But they could look well sold in three weeks time

Easycare hoggs averaged £2.50/kg at Boswells today, topped at £142. The £142 jobs were fit ewe hoggs that hadn't shed well. No encouragement to persevere with them at that trade!

My ewes averaged £112. Ewe trade still very good from what I saw.

There will be starting to get a few about then going by that reckoning, job maybe going to be ok

My single lambs are 2 weeks ahead of last year and cull ewes are far better condition.
