Probably near 30k a year!?

Our full-time guy is on 30k a year and comes to about ยฃ1700 after all deductions when i do his wages.
off top of my head was 52k a year before tax, I got a ยฃ7 a day untaxable bonus aswell if I worked in a radioactive area that month

Pigs poultry dairy all have short lead in times they can turn the tap off very quickly that is why they are getting price increases .Beef on the other hand they just have to look at BCMS and they know exactly whatโ€™s coming and when itโ€™s coming.
They know from experience that dairy men canโ€™t help themselves. In 12 months there will be milk pouring out of everywhere and they will plummet the price to 26ppl again. Very easy to thump up production. I know there are herds selling up. But other herds are growing fast and there are plenty of younger outfits going in as well.

Sheep men are no different.
If lambs were ยฃ160+ year round, everyone would be putting more on.
Cattle the same - as soon as there's a hint of a rise, stores jump.

From what I've heard it's all the paperwork before you can actually do anything? I'd hate it!
I got that fed up with it I started too play the game as much as everybody else did too try and see how ridiculous it could getโ€ฆ
Once pushed a ยฃ500,000 job back 6 months because a drawing had a dimension out by 10mm and I refused too make a start until the drawings were all amended ๐Ÿ˜‚

Those in the food chain?, you mean supermarket workers? No one gave us a second thought
That did really pee me off at the timeโ€ฆ all my friends were going on about it and how great they were for struggling on. I kept quiet until the Mrs jumped up and told them all โ€œFarmers havenโ€™t done a thing differently, they still get up and go to work every single day. Not sit on their arses claiming furlough. Come do a week for us and then sit here telling us how hard done too you areโ€ then she went too the kitchen. Everyone sat very quiet, I nipped in, gave her a squeeze and whispered โ€œgood girlโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
