Just the beef stuff that needs moving, lamb prices are fine hereThis page really does need tidying up....its ridiculous the stuff that keeps getting put on here that is totally off topic....could a moderator move all the beef lamb and pig price stuff to another page please!
Well I'm sheep only but usually tek a few cattle in from next door over summer, just to eat a bit of rough grass off so I don't mind keeping a check on beef prices but it was the beef fellas that voted for beefexitDon’t most of us run beef too? So we get prices from both anyway?

How on earth does be keep up with water on a dairy. I’m struggling for water on hopper lambs with ibc’s and that seems bad enough.Same all over most of Devon now, no rain in the forecast for this month at the moment as well.
Dairy neighbour of mine with over 200 cows indoors on robots 24/7 is apparently taking mains water in ibc's and pouring it into his borehole to supply his dairy unit/house etc!
For the record I feel like the husband who went to the door to find the locks had been changed and my clothes were in bin bags on the lawn.Just looked in on the beef one, apart from the first day where it it looked fun its seriously dull, its like the ex has run of with an accountant, think they will be back for some anything can happen fun.
There worth more than store lambs, maybe I would be better setting the prattley up every night and catching a few.View attachment 1054658I thought sheep where thick, do they not know they can fly.
Sounds like a time consuming excersise .... how many ibc containers is he using ?Same all over most of Devon now, no rain in the forecast for this month at the moment as well.

A f**king lot I should think, how much does a dairy cow drink a day in this dry heat? 100l? Plus the dairy could be 30ibc’s a day.Sounds like a time consuming excersise .... how many ibc containers is he using ?
Be better off employing @Muddyroads and his new water bowser .A f**king lot I should think, how much does a dairy cow drink a day in this dry heat? 100l? Plus the dairy could be 30ibc’s a day.
Yeah, but only if you run them through 'til nearly Christmas and get 8 arable farmers (probably by advertising on the cereal price tracker) to stand around while you poke 'em with a stick to make 'em flap out of your turnips at about 10' high so said arable farmers can blow 'em to bitsThere worth more than store lambs, maybe I would be better setting the prattley up every night and catching a few.
I was looking for quick money, catch them and sell them back to same shoot.Yeah, but only if you run them through 'til nearly Christmas and get 8 arable farmers (probably by advertising on the cereal price tracker) to stand around while you poke 'em with a stick to make 'em flap out of your turnips at about 10' high so said arable farmers can blow 'em to bits
shoot we share some ground with recons he would have made 60,000 profit selling his poults on this year such is the shortage , trouble is they are like farmers and carry on regardless .I was looking for quick money, catch them and sell them back to same shoot.
Going to be alot of boreholes running dry soon, most wells are dry.Be better off employing @Muddyroads and his new water bowser .
Surely a dairy farmer doing this would make national news
...good old TFF ....we heard it here first !!
An ibc is futile where cows are concerned .Same all over most of Devon now, no rain in the forecast for this month at the moment as well.

It is with sheep when it’s hot I wouldn’t want to dream of it on dairyAn ibc is futile where cows are concerned .
Feck them, needy barstewards!! They only moan about the price of food gone up but fail to mention so has the beef, not like us sheep men, food gone up, sheep price down an we’re still happy!! Time to get on tinder an find some new friends to play withJust looked in on the beef one, apart from the first day where it it looked fun its seriously dull, its like the ex has run of with an accountant, think they will be back for some anything can happen fun.
