I dont follow football but indid hear on radio this morning newcastle fans not wanting him , whats he done ? Always came across as a noce person to me the none football follower .

Manchester United made him promises to attract him to the club, in reality it is a badly run club who have massively overpaid for average players. Every recent world class player/manager who has left, has had a similar opinion to Ronaldo.

When they failed to qualify for the Champions League, Ronaldo wanted to leave, however he was too important commercially for the owners to allow him to leave.

He did a interview with Piers Morgan criticising the club and the players, with regards to their lack of effort and ambition, this resulted in him having his contract mutually terminated.

Manchester United are having to pay double the market value for players and wages to attract average players, they are no more then a mid table club now.

The club are heavily in debt and disorganised, hence the majority of supporters, previous players and even managers and have not turned on Ronaldo, his points are valid.

With regards to Newcastle they are owned by the Saudis, who already offered him 100 million to play in Saudi, he politely declined, the man wants to win trophies. Wouldn't take much notice of Newcastle fans, Shearer is criticising Qatar over arm bands whilst his club are owned by the Saudis who hang gays, silence women, kill journalists and bomb innocent women and children in Yemen on a daily basis, double standards.

Thats nowt, 2 neighbours over the hill fell out big time over cattle getting out (for many years) so when A"s bull got into B"s cattle (over B"s wall) he loaded it in trailer, took tags out, carted it about 25 miles onto remote road over grouse moor in middle of nowhere & dumped the fekker out miles from nowhere! :wacky: o_O:sick::poop:(alledgedly)
90% correct . Im farmer A. Farmer B took bull from farmer A ‘s field due to anger management issues. Cctv images in various loations on 29 mile trip and police involvement means that it backfired on farmer B and everyone know knows he’s a d**kh**d.

Shearer is a total arse hole imo never liked that man .

He is the best known athlete in the world with a social media following which is greater then multi national companies and football clubs.

His shirt sales alone would pay a massive chunk of his salary, as a free agent 500k a week is an absolute bargain. The worldwide attention he brings to a club is mind blowing.

It's no different to a farmer paying £500,000 for a combine, if it can yield a decent return of investment.

To put it into perspective some YouTubers earn more then £500k a week.
All the while Kevin Sinfield is running 7 ultra marathons in 7 days having raised £2m for a charity involved in helping his mate Rob and others. The melt wants to use his force for good not bleating on about how unfair a hand he's been dealt.

Wow

You’ve been silent about Russian gangsters and Middle Eastern owners but as soon as some money heads north you fire up.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence?
If that’s directed at me then I don’t mind you taking the moral high ground conversation if you want to

There’s plenty of dubious money in football it’s pretty bad to single out what’s happening in Newcastle. Those other clubs in the prem did all they could to stop the takeover but didn’t manage in the end luckily.
This will bring investment to Newcastle and surrounding areas which is long needed it’s been left behind in the dark ages for years I’m pleased there’s potential for some money coming north not just for the football club but for all the other businesses in and around Newcastle
