What was Carlisle store like today ? Noticed you had some in. Report said an unbelievable lift ?
Happy enough with mine. There was another 3 at £940 they missed off the report. Not bad for 9mth old bullocks out of galloway cows. They wouldnt be up loads on the year as had a good do last year with them. Hard to value anything really especially heifers but there was some dear cattle when you compared them with the younger stuff in the big ring. The rougher hard farmed stuff looks very dear to me tho.

Must of been very runty, some black and white bullocks at the end over a year old and very hard done made 550. I wouldn’t like to get out of them, they’d be 200kg at the most. I thought the shapely stuff around £750 looked a lot cheaper than the dross at £600
Them poor cattle look serious money to me. Will need alot of time and feed to pull them round properly.

Iv'e been told by 2 people a much poorer show of cattle in today, plenty of cattle wanting more feed.
Fair enough. I thought there were some very good fat cattle in today. Out of that number obviously there will be some under finished in people's eye's. The averages aren't going to be record breakers with that number in! Still very good averages for that number which I don't think many markets in the country could live with
