I wonder if some in the Highlands are regretting putting cows away?

Averaged £1630 shorthorns and few charolais. Just what wasnt sold in september so 2nd grades really and 14/15 months.

Good bullocks £1100 over weight. Had one good shorthorn cow up, plainer cows looked a better trade as the best for what they were.
FFS! my lad's did buy well on saturday, should have had 2 load!

Father and me were out gathering that wet day it absolutely pee'd it down all day, you could smell and taste a metal later the tops of the trees burnt off brown and the top of the fell burnt off later that spring
We had some sheep tested they were up a bit they told us to get some off the fell top we just got some in handy to the pens
I was jumping on the IOM ferry for yfc agm ,for those that know ,know

I only sell stores, so I’m just going on how the store market is at the moment where you see 20 month old cattle making less than 10 to 12 month cattle
The way I look at it is if they are well bred it’s not too much effort to get them to £1200 average if you feed them a bit then you could get them £200/£400 more
Depends what else is happening I suppose as to which option you take.
