Only remarked to Clare a couple days ago how well the fields look here, everything nice and green with a fair bit of grass about, wouldn't dare drive in a field let alone put bullocks out but if it don't all burn with frost in the next few weeks there will be no end of grass to turn out to once it dries up which it will.

Same here, got loads of grass = don`t keep sheep !

I’ve got enough grass on fields that have never seen a sheep on them to turn cattle out! Ones with sheep on are stripped

Big High Pressure forming to the east. Hopefully we will dry up a bit,but might be colder.

I will forecast if it gets established,it might sit there the whole of March.

I've been saying for the last 10 months we are due one and been wrong!

Probably be a cold one with no grass but suppose that's a stage better than this lot!

We haven't really got much grass, been too wet to get any muck on but the odd field that has had muck still has nothing much, could end up one of the worst hungry springs if job doesn't sort out.
Not sure wind to east to dry up will be great really but will have to take what comes .

Not a good day for sheep today we very cold and slushy just keep shovelling the coal on and keep up with the fluke side hopefully we will come out the other side hopefully being the operative word

Yes it has. Talking to folks it’s pee'd a lot off too. Doesn’t really bother me on the main part but having said that I did think it might have dried up a bit by now.

I had 1 year with no sheep it was a bit of an eye opener as to how much they do eat !! But its was boring without them ..
