someone told me today that he killed all is Suffolk cross ewe hoggs for £210, can’t see why you wouldn’t if there big and fit if your only going to sell them in august.

A lot of these gimmer to shearling men will kill them I reckon

Noticed this in the Longtown stores report.

One of the highlights of the sale was a run of North Country Cheviot stock ewe hoggs consigned by Messrs J Matthewson & Son, Routin Lynn, Berwick. They sold to a top of £190 for a pen of 24, achieving an average of £176.86 for 84 sold.

I bought a few cheviot mule shearlings in lamb to texel scanned at 200% for £188 a couple of months ago,why would you run them on when they are worth so much to kill?

How is Eid celebrated?​
