I was being told last night they might be going up a bit more in the near future
I got a text from an auction mart yesterday saying hoggs will be less money tomorrow ( Wednesday)
Another auctioneer who’s expecting a big show tonight said similar trade.
And another auctioneer later in the week said similar maybe touch dearer!!!
That’s all bases covered for hoggs this week 😂😂

Always look at the darker side. Expect the worst. That way when it doesn’t happen you’ve always got something to smile about ☺️.
I got £191 for 49s in Hereford today but i felt there was no fever!
Apparently there is a post on facebook showing UK and Aus lamb for
sale in Dubai and the british is nearly twice the money.

Quite right.
When you walk into a field and expect to find something on its back or dead or both, and after second time round and count seems right, all grazing happily.

Breath a sigh of relief, and feel quite uplifted. Until we go onto the next bunch.

But the best is when the sun is scorching like today, everything seems so much better, even a dead ewe, Ach she was just a pining bag of bones, not a big loss.

Better finish lunch and go an bury that ewe.
