Sellers don’t either! Used to set off at 9 and be home for dinner, now we have to take lambs first then go back to see them sold! They might end up being a victim of they’re own success

Any idea how many hoggs there was in? Already being told they’re expecting a lot in ks tonight. Was planning on taking a trailer load but might have a change of plan if there swamped out.
Then again if there a good trade I will kick myself

Made a lot of farms a lot of money once on. Lots of stories of the same sheep going round and round the fell and the inspector counting the same sheep several times the most famous is the one who loved a pint. Took him to the pub at dinner time while all the sheep where shifted to the next farm

Don't know averages yet but I had £200 for 69kg and £200 for 54.1kg in Ross this morning. (Sale moved from yesterday, couple buyers not there )

J36 kendal theres 12 swales and 10 mules in them and 1 Jacob rest texel or beltex x makes working in mud all winter a little less painful

I dropped off at 3pm. Wasn’t much going on but the pens were full. Most hoggs come in wagon loads this time of year to ks. One lad said there was 5 vendors dropped 2k hoggs between them. Half the sale

There seemed to be about half of them still there at 6pm tonight. Sheep everywhere.In the lairage and still in the pens. Mart lads trying to sort them out and didnt know what was in the pens.
