Newark - in April I expect. Fair bit of beet to lift my way and up into Nottinghamshire. Be some good lifting middle of March.
Last week of March , haulier today said it might go a week later after this rain

I think with these wet autumns and winters you’ve probably got the strategy spot on. Even if one year in 10 it gets frosted…late delivery bonus should more than make up for it overall.Yup, right to the last

We do it mainly as we rely on contactor to lift. He is pretty local, but find if near end of campaign, they can turn up virtually as and when we like, to suit us. Rather than, they tell you when they coming regardless of hell or high water.
Also the beet don't hang around, taken in quickly so quicker cashflow turn round.
This works well most years.........I reckon around 1 in 6 or so, we come unstuck

Yes my beet. I’ll take a picture of the heap when I go back in a minute. They look quite good all things considered. That field is only 5 acres, the problem will be the 35 acre field which all has to come out through a wet gateway to stack roadside.
