Best (easiest/cheapest) way to slow down hydraulics on digger

So I have a post knocker for my 3 tonne machine. However when attempting to get the mast upright using the bucket ram the leverage effect means that even the most tiny inputs on the ram result in massive and fast movements of the mast making it almost impossible to use. What I need is an easy way to shut down the flow of the bucket ram, ideally something that can be left on the machine in a position that won't get damaged. Has anyone got an idea of the best way to do this? If so, a link to what I am looking to buy would be appreciated.

PS I am not sure if I already asked this question in the past, apologies if that is the case, the old memory is not what it was.

Cheers Sawdust. That looks like the ticket. Would it be necessary to have one in both lines to the ram?

Farmerbill. Obviously tried that but it is still WAYYYY to fast

Yeah, bucket ram on the digger is double acting, so both sides need controlled the same, easiest bit to do it at is coming off the valve block. (y)
