Best place for gas struts without getting ripped off

Try eBay, I got a pair for the boot lid of my car a few years ago and it wasn't at all expensive as far as I can remember.

I got some off tinternet last year just googled gas struts found a site where you put in what you need and hay prestoe it they arrived in the post !
Had to pay with a card or Paypal to for them not cash!

I've just been doing the one on the door of my Case. It arrived this morning, I think it was £12 + delivery from ebay. Seems OK and fits perfectly
correction-£16 but still not bad

Agriline are cheap for struts just have a meaure up and match them.

I bought a pair off SGS Engineering last year ....one of them failed within a few months ...Sent it back for replacement (they supposedly offer a 1yr warrenty) They claimed I had damaged the rod with some sort of grips and caused the gas leak .....complete rubbish as you don't need any tools to fit them ....they sent a photo of a random damaged rod as "proof" when I complained .....Will never deal with those crooks again !! Beware ....

Ive had a bad experience with SGS too. Bought a tool trolley and it was crap and didnt work properly and they were aggressive about returns

Kramp maybe worth a try. I once needed a gas strut for the braking system on a Biso header trailer.
Biso wanted £740. Kramp £103.

Vapormatic supplies them. Just need the numbers off the old one to match the ‘strength’ of them. Not a lot of money either.

Their milwaukee prices aren't bad. I don't think I'd buy any of their tool chests after their attitude. But at the end of the day they didn't make this stuff and its all down to a price
