Best rain proof jacket for checking stock

Whats ypu poms all wear for rain proof jackets...i need a long one to try keep legs a bit drier while walking around cattle and pasture..

I dont want to look like an axe murderer or a fisherman...drizabone expensive and sh*t for shoulder movement etc.

Atm i use 5 in 1 minesite jacket which is ok but hood is hopeless.

Even the sheep shaggers from nz might chip in?

I’ve got a guy Cotten £70? (agriculture one in green) coat and leggings, they don’t often come out but when they do I’m the only 1 still dry! Dad has a kaiwaka one £200? And he will get wet after a few hours on the quad, we both have delamera sets for light rain and light duty - and fencing!

I give a shite! What if that sexy sales rep chick calls in and here i am looking like a right twit in some axe murder get up...no way...

P.s. no tweed either...i dont do tweed.

Cheers Ant

If it is for being smart and dry for the sales rep, I use one of these, but they are not the cheapest coat (it has a hood):

I'm sure you look like the authentic hard working farmer that you are. Sexy sales chicks who focus on the superficial not worth it.

Oily hessian sacks arranged and tied appropriately with hairy binder cord. Flat cap.

Retro cool ~~~ (y)

Real men can’t be arsed with rain gear. “Protectionist” garb like that can slow a man down.

I work smart not hard, besides the farming is unprotected enough in oz without me adding to it by not having rain protection!!!

Ive learnt with pastures checking them at night just as important as day due to bugs and slugs, might have to trade some coal for a rainjacket with my chinese friends...i use to live in a small country town that actually made work wear but that left in the 90's.

Found some German ones i like but not sure what % of price is tariff?? have to get my friends to buy!!

I get the Kaiwaka Stormforce gear it is great stuff - better if you keep it clean though, like most breathable stuff

Can maybe help source it slightly cheaper if you like the look of it, let me know if that's your kind of thing it may be too warm being double layer?

Or better still - Swazi (y) I have had years out of my old anorak, the first thing I bought when I joined up, and it is still waterproof

i see we talking for an EU agreement - plus have a UK one on the go as well...im gonna be rollin in dough!!! We dont build anything any more so dont have much to protect you see so any free trade agreement is good for us now...luckily we have a good one with the USA.

Mean while the rain dont stop so need a jacket...
