Pipers are ok for chips or roasting ,find for boiling they turn to mush ,bit like pentland crown used to .

When the garden centers closed last march ,I got some Javelin ,first earlies from wilkos home store ,,they were lovely and my main crop were the smalls from a supermarket bag ,,grew like stink ,,taste lovely ,,Ive about 4cwt in store ,dowpt Ill get through them before they have gone soft
