Hello all,
Asking for advice for the best wording for 'private property' signs to hang on gateways.
We struggle with one particular gateway with continuous fly tipping, (I would block it off, but need access & have looked at the different blocks which do allow access for tractors, but gateway is a sizeable one).

We did have a sign saying simply 'Private Property' but when a vehicle got burnt out it melted the sign, and a new one is in order.
What have people had most success with? Sign to say along the lines of ; No fly tipping / no parking / access at all times / strictly private property / vehicles will be towed / CCTV in operation ?

One sign will be on a fairly sizeable gate which can have more detail, but others should be short & to the point.

I know most signs get ignored and people trespass anyway if they want to, but we have SSSI sites and nesting birds so we need to try and get the general public / poachers not to walk anywhere. Saying this, we don't want to invite twitchers by saying its a SSSI / nesting birds.

Thanks in advance.

Wrong doers will always way up the chances of getting caught. "CCTV in Operation" may make some think. As will "Videos are posted on Facebook".

But my favourite has to be:

From experience, signs don't make a damn of difference these days, people will just do what they want and ignore them. Fly tippers would not do it if they actually cared about the environment or the chance to make a few quid, so what good is a sign going to do.
I 100% agree, but a sign is better than no sign surely? Especially when things like SnapChat says there is a public footpath where there is not
