It doesn't really bother me that much if a journalist looks in on here and quotes something in an article. It's a public forum. It was obvious that the "best profession in the world" thread was started for the purposes of gathering material. It happens quite a lot on here in fact. I often read stuff in the farming press that seems to emanate straight from here. Is it a problem? Not really. In some ways it's a compliment that people's words on here carry weight in the media.

A more real problem occurs when regulatory people take an interest and get their claws in, or those trying to do some sort of fraud.
